Daryl has over 25 years of testing experience, primarily in financial services, spanning banking, insurance and investment management from a software quality perspective, with a proven leadership track record in in terms of testing and cost reduction. Over the past 8 years, Daryl has built, developed and now operates KPMG’s award-winning quality testing and engineering services practice.

He will introduce, “You Can’t Expect Success if You Plan to Fail” by sharing some tips and tricks that can subvert your own perception, improve product quality and your own self-esteem!

Bianca Garcez

Chief of staff, strategic project manager and program manager @ ESADE Business School

Bianca has worked in large consulting/financial services, heavily male-dominated environments. Both companies had their policies perfectly written, human resources and complaint channels, mandatory D&I training, and constant determination of “best places to work” lists, but the reality was very different from the implementation. formal page.

Tanvi (Chouhan) Nanda

Quality Engineering Manager @ Zoopla

Tanvi has nearly two decades of IT experience, primarily in software test automation, exploration, and testing. She has experience building test teams and transforming automation at companies such as Telegraph Media, Lloyds Banking and Yobota. She coached the implementation of best practices in test automation and continuous delivery with early feedback in terms of performance, UI functionality and security testing (Shift-Left).

She will present: “Salesforce Test Automation with pyrestBDD”.

Simon Dawson

Head of Engineering @ Atom Bank

Simon is an experienced technology architect with over 20 years of experience currently working with Atom Bank as an Engineering Manager. He is passionate about DevOps, Cloud and Agile. He is known for preparing high-level designs for client approval and detailed designs for use in building new architectures to meet client business needs.

He will present: “Cloud banking and the role of digital insurance” which will discuss what it takes to successfully migrate to the cloud the first time, what digital complexity looks like when building and migrating of the bank, and how to accelerate the time-to-market in a complete program of digital transformation?

Maitha Al Shimmari

Chair – Women in Engineering @ University of Oxford

Maitha is a PhD candidate in Engineering Science at the University of Oxford, which is affiliated with the Oxford e-Research Center (OeRC). She is Chair of the Oxford Women in Engineering Network (WiE) and a member of the Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) Committee of the Department of Engineering at the University of Oxford. She has accumulated over ten years of industrial experience working on sensitive projects as a technical expert, advisor and delegate in the fields of engineering, construction, nuclear energy, management, artificial intelligence, government and diplomacy.

She will present: “Politics of Inclusion”.
