The software testing lifecycle, also known as STLC, is a sequence of special actions taken during the testing process to ensure that all software quality goals are met. STLC covers both verification and validation. This is a series of methodological activities that you need to perform to certify your software product. Each phase of STLC has different goals and deliverables, or you can understand that depending on different organizations different phases may be introduced in STLC. However, the basis will remain the same.
